![]() I'll be even more excited if they create a set piece shard system which allows a player to collect X amount of shards and cash them in for a specific set piece. Then again, they could start using shards to replace other very unpopular dummy prizes in other parts of the game (30k coin/supplies replaced with 1 SoK shard in GE? *shrugs*). On the one hand, it could take away the chance of other prizes, which is lame. I got thoughts on where this can go, of course. ~I like the idea of SoK/WW shard rewards. Maybe future events could look into making this an incentive to complete DCs as well as the quest line? *shrugs* Probably to much to balance and/or too much of a 'freebie' depending on how people feel about DC rewards. This may not be feasible with this event due to how powerful one ingredient is. ![]() ~It would be 'better'(?) if an ingredient was rewarded in addition to the normal DC prize. I haven't done the math (I should have, yesterday's DC for me was a Researcher's chest), so I'm unsure if this is an irrelevant point. If it takes away some % from the top prizes? Sad Panda on Strike. If it took 100% of it's chance from the dummy prize, I'd be fine. ~Mixed feelings on ingredients in DC reward lists. ~I haven't gotten an ingredient from incidents yet, but I like the rumor that it is possible to get 'em from 'em. ~I like how the league system is continuing (More guaranteed free rewards with incentive to buy/do every daily). Manly sexy, if we are terribly worried about the balance of our yin yang. Preferably frown from their own damn garden after they've harvested it with their own damn tools.Īlso, Kiss the Chef aprons can be pretty sexy. But for the majority I think this is a perfectly fine building to plop down.Real men cook their own damn food. So if you really don't have anything else worse to remove then yeah, this is useless for you. I am quite Liberal with buying and spending diamonds if I want an extra event building, and even so I need to use some space on farms. I have multiples of some special buildings (cottages, crows nests, olympic treasuries, cherry sets and piazza sets), not to mention a ton of attack power buildings, but still not enough to not have space left over, which is filled with farms. I have every event building since they started doing them regularly and while I haven't put down that Winter Village set, everything else is placed down. EDIT: My bad, its 24 spots, so it's slightly worse than a level 2 TF if you're looking solely at the fp. While I prefer to put down event buildings with attacks, you can't always get what you want, and a 9 fp for 20 spaces still beats 12 fp for 30 spaces. For me personally, I compare event buildings with level 2 Terrece Farms, because I still have a bunch of them (and a few level 1s). I really don't think it's that bad, and I'm in SAV. That's just for one world! Repeat on multiple and it quickly wears you down. Chests felt unsatisfying to get the higher star variants when a 5 star chest would give the exact same reward as a level 1 chest. ![]() Ended up just wasting moves to make it go faster and hope the next board had paw pieces. Unable to move onto new board without running out of moves on the existing one. Often go many boards with either none or only one piece for the entire 25 moves. By far the main source of frustration for the event. Guess this is just latency (FOE servers are somewhere in EU/NA so I get 350ms+ ping to them) but playing similar games where moves can be placed much faster and more responsive, it becomes painful. Piece movement (matching, making a chest, bottom collection) was very slow. For reference, I enjoyed the St Pat's event. Most of my gripes with it were mainly QOL things that made it feel as drawn out as possible. The new style of minigame was a nice change compared to "click one of the 3 guys and get a prize" type event. I'm sure they'll be able to make improvements for next year if it comes back.
